Dr. Elliece S. Smith is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been in Private Practice for greater than 25 years. She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine (# 2 in her graduating class) and did five years of Post-graduated training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University Hospital. During her years of Private Practice, she has also served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Prince George’s Hospital Center (1992-1995 and 2003-2006) and is currently Chairman of the Department of Gynecology at Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, MD. Throughout the 27 years of her surgical career, she has always exhibited concern about her patient’s post-op physical appearance. On many occasions, her surgical technique has included revisions to previous surgical scars (done by other physicians) or mini tummy tucks while performing OB-GYN surgery on her patients.
In 2005, Dr. Smith decided to transition her private practice. She phased out Obstetrics and, as a natural progression, introduced “A Brand New You” – cosmetic surgery aimed at helping her patients recapture the body that time and childbearing had changed.
The mainstay of her focus is Tumescent Liposuction (for men and women). She received her training in Tumescent Liposuction by the inventor of the procedure, Dr. Jeffrey Klein. She also went back to Dr. Klein and had liposuction done on herself in order to experience the procedure from a patient’s prospective. She is a firm believer that any cosmetic procedure must be done in the safest manner possible and therefore she does strictly Tumescent Liposuction under local anesthesia. This eliminates the risks of general anesthesia, minimizes bruising and allows for a minimal of “down time” with speedier recovery.
Dr. Smith also does labial trimming, perinealplasty (vaginal tightening), laser hair removal and spider vein treatment, Botox and mesotherapy. Each patient is carefully evaluated with special attention paid to his or her personal goals and expectations.

Please feel free to call the office for any of your medical needs. Often your questions can be answered by the staff. Calls that must be answered by the Doctor are usually returned at the end of the work day unless it is of an urgent nature. Normal laboratory results may be obtained by phone from the nursing staff. We do not routinely contact you for normal findings. However, you will be contacted by the office or Doctor concerning any abnormal findings.
Please place all non-emergency calls during regular office hours, for it is at this time that we have access to your medical records. This includes calls for prescription renewals and referral slips for diagnostic studies.
